Fresh light

IMG_20141202_141715_edit_edit
Sunlight streams in again and I am mesmerised
by dancing dust motes
wondering whether –
with the right eyes
and a little faith –
the whole world could be seen this way?

The sunlight of a new day has me enchanted
wondering whether –
shining straight through fingertips,
reflecting and brightening on contact,
making everything glow
like transparent gold –
the whole world could be seen this way?

  1. The light is always changing…but transparent gold is a pretty good one to hold on to for a while 🙂

  2. Our own world often feels like the whole world. Very beautifully expressed

  3. The words ‘enchanted,’ ‘glow,’ and ‘shining through finger tips,’ presents a picture of delight and wonder and it captured me. I love Einstein’s words: ‘You can live as though nothing is a miracle or everything is a miracle.’ I go for the latter! Another beautiful poem Robyn.
