Within the domain of despair
twelve resistant beasts dwell –
reliving momentous events and
descrying infinite portents
of what will come to pass.
Outside and goaded by the wind,
1728 softly lit clouds are
attending to the infinite minutiae
of final transformations
before the coming storm.

Let it be hail. I’ll wait on the road.
Let no more elephants die.
Just let love be the winner,
And let the people fly

Love it! You know, I almost tagged this one with “revolution” but only certain minds would want to go there… š

I tried but I couldn’t decipher, sorry. Usually I am excellent at code-breaking, but my brain is on sick-leave.

Sorry, to give you a headache. Just wasn’t sure what response to give…. a smiley face, a sad face, or a surprised face? Never mind, I am just being silly. LOL

Powerful, Robyn! Now, if I could just tap into this truth, when my beasts come a calling?
BTW, I think I have at least 36 of these resistant beasts.

36 beasts, 46,656 clouds… with that many you could organise a square dance š

Watching the clouds scurry about the sky yesterday, it seemed like they were preparing themselves, as if for a difficult undertaking or an upcoming performance. Some were in a conga line, others were doing the highland fling, along with usual waltzes and dosey-does. I saw your 36 beasts and went straight to the square dance considering I was playing with cubes (gotta love a pun). Sometimes my jokes are not funny.
Seriously though, personally I have to stop waiting for and looking at signposts. Better to dance around free as a cloud than try to plan a future I have no control over.

This is really the key to living, isn’t it? How does it go: What has already happened is in the past, and we don’t know what is going to happen in the future, so we might as well live in the present.
I love puns, I get it from my paternal grandfather. Every Thanksgiving, like clockwork, he’d start to carve the turkey and say, “Turkey always leaves such a foul taste in my mouth!”
I think I saw those clouds dancing too, but they left me in the dark;-)
How’s that for a not funny pun?

Like it! The turkey one cracked me up. We don’t have turkey carving or thanksgiving rituals here… but if I do get the chance to experience, I will no doubt spend the day telling everyone not to let the turkeys get them down.

Yep, those turkeys are for the birds!
